GISmonitor
Partial Discharge Monitoring System
Online partial discharge monitoring of gas insulated switchgear. The GISmonitor is a fully automated, continuous on-line partial discharge (PD) monitoring system for Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS).
- Parallel UHF PD measurement on all channels
- Centralized architecture
- High level of redundancy
- High extendable
- Automatic recognition of PD defect & noise separation techniques
About GISmonitor
Power Diagnostix’s GISmonitor is a reliable Partial Discharge Monitoring System (PDMS) designed to detect hidden defects inside Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), such as insulation degradation, cracks, floating particles, and other abnormalities. With continuous and real-time UHF signal acquisition, the system ensures that no PD activity goes unnoticed, helping operators maintain asset reliability and prevent unexpected failures.
Built with a modular architecture, GISmonitor can cover both small and large GIS installations and is easily expandable for future extensions. The system enables centralized monitoring, real-time analysis, alarm integration with SCADA, and supports testing during commissioning. It also offers retrofit solutions for GIS without embedded UHF sensors, making it a flexible and comprehensive monitoring solution.
